Checkpoint 009 Major Figure Updates

Adam and Wife: 7:19-25 jointly tempted, eat, become exposed and repent; no serpent narrated and no unique blame assigned to woman. 7:189-190 later raises ambiguity over single-soul/mate and shirk.

Iblīs/Satan: refuses from pride, receives respite, claims God caused him to stray, vows systematic temptation; Satanic influence remains subordinate to divine sovereignty.

Moses: Pharaoh confrontation, signs/plagues, Exodus deliverance, forty nights, request to see God, tablets, golden calf crisis, seventy men, water from rock and Israelite covenant episodes dominate Surah 7.

Aaron: Quran 7 presents him as Moses’ deputy who resisted the calf community and was overpowered, significantly differing from Exodus 32.

Muhammad: 7:157 claims he is written in Torah/Gospel and universalizes his mission; 7:187-188 denies independent unseen knowledge; 7:203 says he follows revelation rather than manufacturing signs.

People of the Book / Israel: Surah 7 includes righteous and unrighteous subgroups, Sabbath-breaker judgment, inherited/studied Book, and the claim that Torah/Gospel contain Muhammad.

Jesus/Christian Scripture: Injīl investigation finds Quranic revelation framing but no pre-Islamic evidence for a separate Jesus-received book predicting Muhammad.

Master Block 001 Integration - Surahs 8-10

Surahs 8-10 were completed after CP009 without an intermediate checkpoint, by design. Their material is integrated here as Master Block research content from the preserved project record; no nonexistent checkpoint is asserted.

Muhammad

Surahs 8-10 deepen Muhammad’s delegated authority: spoils and communal order (8:1), obedience (8:20), military leadership, charity administration (9:60, 9:103), and religious instruction. They also define limits: God corrects his discretionary judgment (9:43); his prayer cannot overturn divine judgment (9:80); he does not know every hypocrite (9:101); he cannot change revelation independently (10:15); he lacks independent harm/benefit power (10:49); and he ends Surah 10 commanded to follow revelation (10:109). These Quranic data are foundational for the later Sunnah/hadith authority study but do not themselves authenticate later reports.

Moses and Aaron

Surah 10 adds a compressed Moses/Aaron confrontation with Pharaoh, magicians, persecuted believers, houses/qiblah instruction, and Moses’ hardening prayer. The prayer and its acceptance are especially important for the guidance/hardening dossier and differ from Exodus’s presentation.

Pharaoh

Surah 10 gives Pharaoh a drowning confession of belief that is rejected as too late and says his body is delivered/preserved as a sign. Keep historical identification open; no specific mummy is established by the text.

Noah

Surah 10 again presents Noah as a warning prophet who seeks no payment, is rejected, is saved with believers, and sees rejecters drowned. This reinforces the Quranic universal prophetic pattern.

Jonah / Yūnus

10:98 makes Jonah’s people the exceptional community whose belief before punishment benefits them and averts worldly punishment, strongly paralleling the repentance of Nineveh in Jonah 3.

Abraham

9:113-114 revisits Abraham’s prayer for his father and subsequent disassociation. Link with 6:74 (Āzar) and the Genesis Terah difference; do not import later identifications without provenance labels.

Jesus / Christology

10:68 renews the Quranic rejection of divine sonship. Surah 9:30 states the Christian Messiah-son-of-God claim while pairing it with the ʿUzayr claim about Jews; both feed the Christology/representation dossier.
